Andromeda is a shared resource. Unlike a personal computer or laptop, you will need to submit your computational jobs into a scheduling system. The job scheduler, Slurm, will allow you to request the resources you need. This includes the number of nodes, memory, and length of time your job will need to complete. Once you have submitted this information, it will enter a queue managed by the scheduler. Slurm will then allocate the resources and schedule your jobs as resources become available.
